Oak Cutting List The Must

Description

The oak cutting list "The Must" brings together sized pieces, in fixed widths and lengths to order, with a planing service. Made from French logs, mostly PEFC certified, the timber is sawn into boards, air-dried under cover then kiln-dried, before the pieces are cut to measure from boards dried to 10-12 % moisture content. Cutting after drying guarantees good straightness across the width, with no bow, and freedom from end splits. The pieces are solid-piled on strapped, shrink-wrapped pallets identified by a barcode label, with ends trimmed square. The qualities comply with the European grading standard, from QF1a to QF4. Options of prestige quality, sapwood on one or four faces, heat treatment (BMT thermally modified timber) and planing are available. This premium product is intended for kitchens, furniture and wood flooring, as well as luxury boxes, fancy wooden goods and point-of-sale displays. The minimum volume is 100 pieces per size.
