Oak logs

Description

Scierie Roger offers oak logs from forests lying within a 130 km radius of its sawmill at Ingrannes. The logs are sorted by grade: sliced veneer, stave wood, boule, PP Oak, square-edged and structural timber, so as to send each log to its best use. The company works oak for 90% of its output but also handles sweet chestnut, ash and beech. Buying is done standing, from the Office national des forêts, from forestry consultants, from associations and directly from owners. Strict grading and the closeness of supply guarantee a traceable resource, with the Bois de France label, for primary processing industries.
