Hardwood lumber (boules & slabs)

Description

The oak strip is a pre-dimensioned product intended for making parquet flooring, joinery and quality furniture. These are pieces of timber with four square edges, no more than 100 mm wide, valued for their versatility and their fine grain. The sawmill offers them in a standard thickness of 27 mm (18 mm available in certain qualities), in usual widths of 70, 80 and 100 mm (60 mm subject to availability) and in lengths from 0.25 m to 2.20 m, in green, air-dried or kiln-dried timber. Kiln-dried timber is stored in three climate-controlled sheds to prevent it from taking up moisture again. Grading follows the EN 975-1 standard, from QFA/QF1A to QF4XX. Thanks to their narrow format, strips are used to produce solid parquet boards, glued laminated and decorative panels, stair treads, joinery frames and high-end furniture.
