Description
A speciality of the sawmill, oak roof structures are squared pieces that are 100% French, sawn to order in all sections and in lengths up to 15 m. Sawing to order allows packing by batch, ready to be machined and delivered to site. The sawmill also holds permanent stock in standard sections (150×150, 180×180, 200×200, 250×250, 300×300 mm) and in various others, available in green or partly dried timber. The pieces are rough sawn, offered in square-edged quality with sapwood QP1/A, the most requested, as well as in QP2 (more rustic) and QPA (superior quality); options without sapwood or free of heart are possible. All squared pieces are referenced by their sawing date. Thanks to their durability and their strength, they are suited to exposed roof structures, half-timbering, extensions, agricultural buildings and the restoration of historic monuments.
