Description
This Grade S brings together premium oak boules from French veneer logs, mostly PEFC certified. The logs, of large diameter, are sawn into unedged boards then restacked into boules, cleanly debarked and trimmed. The timber is offered green, air-dried under cover or kiln-dried, and stored on dried profiled stickers to keep staining under control. The boules are strapped and identified by a barcode label. Available in very long lengths, from 4 to 8 m, this grade is intended for exceptional, large-scale or luxury work and for fit-out. Acceptance and grading are carried out green, with a minimum volume of 5 m³ per thickness.
