Owatrol Aquadecks Water-Based Wood Saturator

Description

Water-based wood saturator that strengthens the protection of the wood against ultraviolet light, the main cause of premature degradation and blackening of exterior timber. It keeps the natural look of the substrate by leaving the grain visible, and does not flake. Its versatility across species is its main advantage: it suits tropical hardwoods such as teak, ipe, bangkirai, massaranduba or acacia, softwoods such as Douglas fir, larch, Red Cedar and spruce and pressure-treated timber, as well as thermally modified wood. It is applied to new as well as old timber, provided the substrate is carefully prepared and any existing coating is removed beforehand, a step often overlooked and decisive for durability. The product covers decking, garden buildings and garden furniture. Ten shades are listed. Matt finish, coverage of 10 to 12 m² per litre.
