Description
Water-based gel oil remover, designed for exterior timber blackened by the combined effect of moisture, cold and ultraviolet light. These attacks degrade the protective oils applied to the wood, which darken and become loaded; the product makes those oils water-soluble and removes them deep down, including blackened teak and linseed oils. The gel formulation allows application on horizontal as well as vertical surfaces without runs, and the product is ready to use, with no solvent and no paraffin. It is applied directly to the wood: garden furniture, duckboards, decking. Species with strong tannin bleed, notably oak and sweet chestnut, are excluded from the field of use. Its action is neutralised with Net-Trol, the wood brightener in the range. Coverage of 5 to 6 m² per litre, application between 8 and 35 °C.
