Description

Water-based opaque decorative paint for timber cladding and decking. Its stated durability is its main selling point: fifteen years on vertical cladding and five years on horizontal decking, without flaking, a difference that reflects the much greater wear on a floor that is walked on than on a wall. The product is microporous and therefore lets the wood breathe, which is essential for long-lasting performance on an exterior substrate. Its matt finish preserves the natural character of the wood despite the opaque colour, and colour retention is stated as very high. Application is straightforward on all prepared timber, new or old: softwoods, hardwoods, tropical hardwoods, thermally modified or modified species such as Accoya and Kebony. It can also be used on concrete and PVC. Thirteen shades are listed, several of them in the RAL colour range. Coverage: 8 to 10 m² per litre.
