Owatrol Deks Olje D.1 Tropical Hardwood Saturator

Description

Wood saturator based on alkyd resins and natural oils, designed for dense, oily tropical hardwoods that ordinary finishes do not impregnate properly. Its penetration is the key point of the product: it has to lodge in the wood and not stay on the surface, a principle that rules out any film formation and therefore any flaking in the long run. The result is a matt oiled finish that leaves the grain visible. It is applied by brush or roller, with a drying time of 24 to 48 hours, and subsequent maintenance remains simple. Its field of use covers garden furniture, decking, duckboards, gates and, in the marine world, boat decks and topsides, on teak, mahogany, movingui or ipe. It can be applied below the waterline provided it is overcoated with a suitable finish. Coverage of 8 to 12 m² per litre.
