Description

Very fluid gloss varnish for hardwoods, new or old, developed for the demands of the marine world. The film obtained is both tough and flexible, a decisive quality on a substrate subject to dimensional movement and thermal shock. The gloss is retained over time and the grain of the wood stays visible. One advantage in use sets it apart from conventional varnishes: no sanding is needed between coats, except before the last one, which considerably lightens a multi-coat job. It is applied as a finish over the Deks Olje D.1 penetrating finish or its professional version. On a boat, its use is restricted to work above the waterline; outside the marine field, it covers garden furniture and gates, horizontally as well as vertically. It can be tinted with colourants, on the manufacturer's advice. Coverage of about 15 m² per litre.
