Description

Water-based multi-effect finish designed to protect and decorate the bare wood of furniture made from pallet timber, an unusual substrate because of its roughness and irregularity. Its formulation combines alkyd and acrylic, which makes it highly penetrating: it soaks into the bare wood rather than sitting on the surface, where a conventional paint would merely mask it. It gives protection against the weather and ultraviolet light while preserving the strength and appearance of the wood. Ready to use, it is easily applied by brush or roller, its consistency making work on irregular sections easier. It is used on pallet wood structures, indoors as well as outdoors, but must not be applied to floors. Three shades are available: grey, taupe and white. Soft matt finish, coverage of 8 to 10 m² per litre.
