Owatrol Textrol Softwood and Pressure-Treated Wood Saturator

Description

Wood saturator based on vegetable oils, designed for exterior softwoods. It penetrates, seals and protects the substrate deep down without forming a film: it does not peel or flake, and maintenance is carried out without the colour building up over successive coats. It is applied wet on wet, a method that saves time over large areas. The product is self-protected against mould. Its field of use is strictly limited to exterior softwoods — Red Cedar, larch, pine treated right through or untreated, ash — on horizontal surfaces, decking and duckboards, as well as vertical ones, cladding, shingles and fencing. One important reservation governs the result: it must not be applied to new wood, a situation for which the manufacturer refers to its Seasonite stabiliser. Four shades are listed. Matt finish, coverage of 10 to 12 m² per litre.
