The PCS® Preventive Contact System safety system from the FELDER group is designed to protect the user against the risks of accidents and injuries when using a panel saw. This revolution in safety systems for panel saws was founded by Felder Group together with the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and in collaboration with the University of Vienna. More specifically, the globally patented safety system detects human tissue in the danger zone as the blade approaches and makes it disappear within a few milliseconds, as if by magic: it instantly retracts beneath the table when danger looms.
