Planed Oak Cladding Board

Description

This oak cladding consists of machined boards made from trees grown in French forests, mostly PEFC certified, supplied with ends trimmed square and in barcode-labelled packs. The oak is graded QF1b to QF3 to the standard, equivalent to use class 4 of the French standard for facades exposed to rain. The range also covers other species: beech, poplar and ash with sound knots permitted, equivalent to use class 3. The boards are installed outdoors to improve thermal insulation and protect buildings from the weather; they are also used indoors as floor and wall decoration, in a dark shade. Profiling and finger-jointing options are available, as well as a variant in sawn, unplaned boards. The minimum area is 200 m².
