Description

This oak cutting list "The Must" supplies pieces made from dried boards, in fixed widths and lengths set to order, with a planing service included. The oak comes from French forests that are mostly PEFC certified; the logs are sawn into boards, air-dried under cover then kiln-dried, before the pieces are cut from boards dried to 10-12 % moisture content. Cutting after drying ensures good straightness, with no bow, and a guarantee of no end splits. The pieces are solid-piled on strapped, shrink-wrapped pallets identified by a barcode label, with ends trimmed square. The qualities run from QF1a to QF4 under the European grading standard. Options of prestige quality, sapwood, heat treatment (BMT thermally modified timber) and planing are available. This premium product is intended for kitchens, furniture, wood flooring, luxury boxes, fancy wooden goods and point-of-sale displays. The minimum volume is 100 pieces per size.
