Description
The preformed DRIP EDGE PROFILE is a raw or lacquered aluminium profile, designed to ensure the optimal connection between the underlay membrane and the eaves. Its role is to efficiently drain infiltration or meltwater by leading it directly into the gutter, while protecting the underlying roof elements. It also contributes to the wind-tightness of the roof, in accordance with the technical requirements of flexible underlay membrane systems. This profile, available in different preformed angles and several lengths, adapts to the most common roof configurations. Advantages Simple and quick installation. Full compliance with DTU 40.29, concerning flexible underlay membranes. Ensures reliable connection of the membrane to the eaves. Allows drainage of infiltration and meltwater toward the gutter. Available in raw or lacquered aluminium for aesthetic integration. Redirect infiltration or meltwater into the gutter. Protect the framing elements located beneath the membrane. Guarantee the wind-tightness of the underlay. Be used on all types of roofs equipped with flexible membranes. Installation Cut the desired length. Fix the profile with suitable nails or screws. Fix the underlay membrane: With the DuoPlus double-sided adhesive, or With the THERMO KLEB & DICHT adhesive.
