Description
Planed timber from large-diameter logs, cut quarter-sawn or false quarter-sawn, which limits movement and suits exposed facades. The standard species is Swiss silver fir, other species being produced on request. Quality follows the Lignum criteria for timber in construction and interior fit-out, Swiss trade practice, 2021 edition. Profiles and dimensions are set on request. Lengths cover 3.00 to 6.00 m with finger-jointing in length, other lengths remaining available on request; the lengths ordered are invoiced rounded to the nearest 100 mm, in line with Swiss industrial timber grading. The surface is supplied planed, sawn with an oversize allowance, or sanded on request. Moisture content is 14% ± 2%, consistent with exterior use, the only use declared for this product. Short lengths making up to 20% of the delivery are supplied with the batch. Availability is confirmed on request.
