Description

This Striebig Compact 5220, dated February 2006, was reconditioned by Larenn in 2025. The partial reconditioning covered the replacement of all the wearing parts and of every part with a significant functional or cosmetic defect; the machine is in good general condition, scratches in some areas being the only notable imperfections. It cuts 4 600 × 2 100 mm, the data sheet giving 60 mm in the capacity figures and 80 mm for the cutting depth. The 3.9 kW (5.3 hp) motor drives a 250 mm blade with a 30 mm bore at 5 250 rpm. At the workstation the sound pressure reaches 83 dB; the connected load is 4.8 kW at 3 × 400 V, 50 Hz. Overall, the saw measures 5 800 × 3 000 × 1 500 mm and weighs 820 kg.
