Universal connections for lightweight timber structures Universal connection system in A2 stainless steel, for timber, up to 17.4 kN. RICON® stainless steel can be used on the following materials: oak, Douglas fir, larch and modified timbers such as Accoya. It is ideal both indoors and outdoors: for garden furniture, balconies, pergolas, canopies, decking and in particular for play and sports equipment or other uses in higher service classes. Assembly and dismantling as often as required, without damage Tested and patented, with a European Technical Assessment The conical notch gives the RICON® stainless steel hook-in screw an optimum grip. The short engagement and tightening distance makes hooking in easier, ensuring closed joints and quick assembly of the components. RICON® consists of two identical fittings. It is made of stainless steel RICON® Ø 8 mm SK countersunk stainless steel screw with a Torx 25 bit. Designed specifically for this connector, its shank is reinforced at the head and its point is self-drilling. It provides the hook-in function and compensates for machining tolerances. The stainless steel locking pin is fitted into the lugs provided before final assembly. It automatically secures and locks the joint against the direction of engagement.
