Garden buildings & carports
Description
A single-car carport of French manufacture, the Roche Noir is made by the sawmill in dried and planed spruce, treated with Xylophene to use class 2. It comes as a ready-to-assemble kit and is put together with mortise-and-tenon joints pegged in wood, in the traditional way that gives the structure its strength. The full set of ironmongery is delivered with the shelter: adjustable post bases, anchor bolt, coach screw, wooden pegs and screws. Installation is on a concrete slab or concrete pads, the timber keeping its natural colour. The timbers come from sustainably managed forests and carry the Bois des Alpes and PEFC labels. The roof covering (tile or steel sheet), the flashings, the roof boarding, a solid Douglas fir version, installation and delivery round out the range as options.
