Description
Rockacier B nu Energy is a dual-density stone wool board whose upper face is of higher density and identified by a marking, in compressibility class B. It insulates non-accessible flat roofs on a profiled steel or timber deck, beneath a mechanically fixed bituminous or synthetic waterproofing membrane. The upper layer has a density of 180 kg/m³ and the lower layer 100 kg/m³ from 100 to 260 mm, for a compressive stress of CS(10/Y)30 kPa and a point load of PL(5)450 N. The declared thermal conductivity λ of 0.036 W/(m·K) is the lowest in the Rockacier family, which makes it possible to reach high thermal resistances on the roof. Twenty-four product codes cover thicknesses from 100 to 260 mm, mainly in 1200 x 1000 mm, for thermal resistances from 2.75 to 7.2 m²·K/W. Reaction to fire A1 and technical application document.
