Rockair 2 granulated blowing stone wool

Description

Rockair 2 is the ROCKWOOL granulated stone wool dedicated to machine blowing in unoccupied loft spaces, installed with the machine of the same name. The resulting layer covers the whole loft floor, deals with awkward details that are hard to reach with rolls and has a settlement class of S1. The product is also used in timber frame construction, where it meets the requirements for thermal comfort in summer and winter, acoustic comfort, fire performance, behaviour in the presence of water and moisture, and resistance to pests. In regulatory terms, DTU 45.11 requires a deflector to be fitted when blowing loose-fill insulation, but Rockair 2 allows a grille to be used instead. The declared thermal conductivity λ is 0.044 W/(m·K), the density 19 kg/m³ and the reaction to fire A1. 20 kg bags, 35 bags per pallet.
