Rockcomble Flex flexible-edge stone wool insulation board

Description

Rockcomble Flex is a single-density stone wool board with a flexible edge that fits the space available between the rafters. This compressible edge allows installation without fine cutting at common spacings and limits the perimeter gaps that are often responsible for thermal leaks in refurbishment. The board is intended for the first insulation layer between the rafters of converted or convertible loft spaces. It is also suitable for timber frame construction, where it meets the requirements for thermal comfort in summer and winter, acoustic comfort, fire performance, behaviour in the presence of water and moisture, and resistance to pests. Semi-rigid under the ACERMI criterion, it has a declared thermal conductivity λ of 0.033 W/(m·K), a density of 50 kg/m³, reaction to fire A1 and an A+ indoor air emissions rating. The range covers thicknesses from 60 to 140 mm in widths of 365 and 565 mm.
