Rockcomble nu stone wool insulation board

Description

Rockcomble nu is an unfaced single-density stone wool board intended for the second insulation layer between rafters in converted or convertible loft spaces. Supplied unfaced, it leaves the vapour strategy to the designer, who adds a separate membrane on the internal side. The board is also used in timber frame construction, where it meets the requirements for thermal comfort in summer and winter, acoustic comfort, fire performance, behaviour in the presence of water and moisture, and resistance to pests. Semi-rigid under the ACERMI criterion, it has a declared thermal conductivity λ of 0.035 W/(m·K), a density of 32 kg/m³, reaction to fire A1 and an A+ indoor air emissions rating. Two thicknesses are available, 150 and 210 mm, corresponding to thermal resistances R of 4.25 and 6 m²·K/W. The product is eligible for the Rockcycle take-back service.
