Rockfaçade stone wool insulation board for rainscreen cladding

Description

Rockfaçade is a single-density stone wool board designed for external wall insulation (EWI) behind rainscreen cladding with a ventilated air cavity. Mechanically fixed to the substrate, it carries the cladding framing and leaves the air cavity that drains and dries the wall. The product is also suitable for timber frame construction, where it meets the requirements for thermal comfort in summer and winter, acoustic comfort, fire performance and behaviour in the presence of water and moisture. The range is wide: fifteen product codes from 40 to 240 mm, in 1350 x 600 mm, covering thermal resistances from 1.1 to 6.85 m²·K/W. The declared thermal conductivity λ is 0.035 W/(m·K) and the density varies from 35 to 42 kg/m³ depending on the thickness. Non-combustible and Euroclass A1, the board has zero mobilisable combustible mass within the meaning of the façade fire safety regulations.
