Rockfeu Wood A2 RsD stone wool board with wood wool facing

Description

Rockfeu Wood A2 RsD combines dual-density stone wool insulation with a 15 mm wood wool facing. It is mechanically fixed to the soffit of a solid slab, in reinforced or prestressed concrete. Its primary purpose is fire protection, supplemented by thermal insulation and acoustic correction of car parks, basements and cellars in all types of building; it also deals with garage ceilings. The wood wool facing protects the insulation from mechanical damage, which is common in these spaces, and provides the finished appearance of the ceiling. The reaction to fire of the composite is A2-s1,d0 and the declared thermal conductivity λ 0.035 W/(m·K), for densities of 120 kg/m³ in the upper layer and 70 to 75 kg/m³ in the lower layer. Thirteen composite thicknesses are listed, from 15+50 to 15+235 mm.
