Description
Rockfeu Wood B FdC is the permanent shuttering version of the composite combining dual-density stone wool and a 15 mm wood wool facing, with a declared reaction to fire of B-s1,d0. The board is placed in the formwork before the concrete is poured; anchoring is provided by staples, which bonds the composite to the slab as soon as it sets. It is mainly dedicated to fire protection and thermal insulation of car parks, basements and cellars in all types of building. The wood wool facing acts as the exposed ceiling finish and protects the insulation against mechanical damage. The declared thermal conductivity λ is 0.035 W/(m·K), with densities of 120 kg/m³ in the upper layer and 70 to 75 kg/m³ in the lower layer. Twelve composite thicknesses are offered, from 15+65 to 15+235 mm.
