Rockglace stone wool insulation board with glass tissue

Description

Rockglace is a single-density stone wool board faced on one side with a black glass tissue, installed as external wall insulation (EWI) behind rainscreen cladding with a ventilated air cavity. The black tissue plays an aesthetic as much as a technical role: it conceals the insulation behind open-jointed or slatted cladding, where the backing remains visible, while protecting the wool from the effects of the air cavity. The declared thermal conductivity λ is 0.035 W/(m·K) for a density of 39 kg/m³, and the board is semi-rigid under the ACERMI criterion. Three thicknesses are offered, 80, 100 and 180 mm, corresponding to thermal resistances R of 2.25, 2.85 and 5.1 m²·K/W. Non-combustible and Euroclass A1, Rockglace has zero mobilisable combustible mass within the meaning of the façade fire safety regulations.
