Description
Rockplus Premium nu is a single-density stone wool board supplied unfaced, designed for insulation beneath the rafters of converted or convertible loft spaces. The same board also deals with internal walls, for all types of vertical walls between framing as well as all types of masonry lining walls. It is also suitable for timber frame construction, where it meets the requirements for thermal comfort in summer and winter, acoustic comfort, fire performance, behaviour in the presence of water and moisture, and resistance to pests. With a declared thermal conductivity λ of 0.032 W/(m·K), it is among the best performing stone wools in the range, for a density of 65 kg/m³. The board is semi-rigid, non-combustible Euroclass A1, with an A+ indoor air emissions rating. Seven thicknesses cover the range from 75 to 200 mm, giving thermal resistances from 2.3 to 6.25 m²·K/W.
