Rougier tropical hardwood sawnwood 1
Sawn hardwood (boules & unedged boards)

Description

Under the sawn timber category, Rougier markets tropical hardwood sawnwood and industrial sawnwood originating from Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon, under FSC certification. The species monitored in significant volumes are okoumé, sapele, ayous, tali, okan, padauk (listed under CITES), sipo, iroko and movingui. Kosipo, doussié, moabi, bossé, iatandza, fraké, assamela (also subject to CITES) and béli complete the offering. Specifications are adapted to the target market: multiple or fixed widths and lengths, standard or specific thicknesses, FAS, Standard & better or Merchantable quality. The sawnwood is delivered kiln-dried (KD) or green (AD). The producer’s drying facilities enable it to supply kiln-dried okoumé, ayous, sapele, sipo and mahogany in particular, with regular volumes. No standard dimensions are published for this sawnwood.
