Roulrock kraft stone wool insulation roll

Description

Roulrock kraft is a stone wool roll faced with polyethylene-backed kraft, used to insulate unoccupied loft spaces. Rolled out directly onto the loft floor, it is an alternative to blown insulation where the area is clear and accessible. The product is also used for insulation in the plenum of a suspended ceiling. Six product codes cover thicknesses from 60 to 200 mm in 1200 mm width, with roll lengths decreasing as the thickness increases, for thermal resistances from 1.5 to 5.1 m²·K/W. The declared thermal conductivity λ is 0.040 W/(m·K) from 60 to 160 mm and 0.039 W/(m·K) at 200 mm; the density varies from 23 to 27 kg/m³ depending on the thickness. The indoor air emissions rating is A+. Because of the kraft facing, ROCKWOOL declares the reaction to fire as NPD, performance not determined.
