Rustic Oak Unedged Board Grade QS3

Description

The selected unedged boards of Grade QS3 have a rustic character. They come from French oak logs, mostly PEFC certified, debarked, cleanly trimmed and sawn into unedged boards that are then selected. In line with the European grading standard, this grade shows numerous, mostly sound knots and a 120 mm clear face free of sapwood. The timber is offered green, air-dried under cover or kiln-dried, and stored on dried profiled stickers to keep staining under control. The packs are strapped and identified by a barcode label. This grade gives the rustic character sought in joinery, furniture, kitchens, wood flooring and coffins. Acceptance and grading are carried out green, with a minimum volume of 5 m³ per thickness.
