Glulam & glued solid timber

Description

Finger-jointed solid timber in spruce and fir, graded C24, produced in quality I — industrial, for buildings with reduced aesthetic requirements; other species are available on request. Finger-jointing allows bars of great length: the standard is 13.00 m, other lengths being supplied per list on request. Standard sections run from 45 × 95 mm to 140 × 200 mm and are listed in the production schedule, with the number of pieces and the volume per pack. The surface is planed on four faces with chamfer and special profiles can be machined on request. Moisture content is 15% ± 3%, and the C24 design values follow EN 14080:2013 and, in Switzerland, SIA 265. Bonding is carried out with a type I polyurethane adhesive to EN 15425, free of solvent and formaldehyde, with a colourless, water-resistant glue line. Reaction to fire D-s2,d0 to EN 13501-1.
