CLT — cross-laminated timber
Description
Cross-laminated timber panel produced in Switzerland from exclusively Swiss fir and spruce, other species remaining available on request. The crosswise bonding of the plies limits movement and allows loads to be carried in both directions, which opens up its use in walls, floors, roofs, superstructures and cantilevers. Thicknesses run from 27 to 400 mm depending on the number of plies, with formats produced every 100 mm between 2.00 × 7.00 m and 3.40 × 14.00 m; lengths up to 16.00 m are supplied on request. Three face qualities are offered: B, exposed residential, sanded and with knots cut out; C, exposed industrial; D, non-exposed. All the plies are edge-bonded and the panels are systematically calibrated or sanded. Moisture content 10% ± 2%, λ = 0.13 W/(m·K), reaction to fire D-s2,d0 to EN 13501-1, formaldehyde-free polyurethane bonding. Unless stated on the order, the panels are produced for use class 1 or 2.
