Wood fuel
Description
By-products from the Schilliger sawmills, put to use in four distinct families. First-class wood chips and bark are intended for weed control, soil loosening, plant protection, garden paths, event grounds and peat beds. Sawdust and planer shavings are offered as absorbents, as binders and as animal bedding. These materials come straight from the sawing and planing lines of the Haltikon and Perlen sites, where only Swiss timber is processed. They make up the full use of the volume entering the sawmill, alongside sawn timber, glued timber and panels. The uses declared by the producer are landscaping and agricultural; no combustion, particle size or moisture content figures are published on the data sheet or in the accompanying documentation.
