Description

An automatic cardboard box former designed for small and medium-sized companies working at moderate output, making boxes one at a time or in multi-piece batches. The longitudinal cutting and creasing units and the cross unit allow the size and type of box to be changed at will. The box is selected on screen or by reading a barcode that transmits the dimensions of the product to be packed. The board feed takes single sheets, a continuous roll or an automatic selector for up to eight rolls, in order to optimise material consumption. Fitted as standard with seven cutting and creasing units, extendable to twelve as an option for two boxes side by side, the machine reaches two boxes a minute and builds every pack to the actual dimensions of the product, which does away with void fill and reduces handling. It takes board from 2 to 7 mm thick and removes the need to stock numerous ready-made box sizes.
