Scots pine is one of the softwoods that Guillemette & Cie selects in the forests of Scandinavia, among the best Northern European origins listed by the company. It is offered as sawn timber cut to order: the required sections are agreed with the customer and then prepared to order. The volumes come from sustainably managed forests, in line with the selection work the company has undertaken in the Scandinavian area. FSC or PEFC certification applies only to batches identified as certified; its availability is checked before ordering, product by product, and is not automatic across the whole range.
