Solid oak boule

Description

The sawmill oak boules are top-quality sawn timber from French forests located less than 150 km from the site. Sawn mainly from butt logs, into boards of a single thickness then reassembled, they come from one and the same tree, which guarantees the consistency of colour and grain sought after in fit-out, furniture and cabinetmaking. After sawing, the boules are stored from six months to several years depending on the thickness in order to control moisture content and offer air-dried timber; part of the stock is then kiln dried. Graded to the EN 975-1 standard in QBA, QB1, QB2, QB3 and Cooperage qualities, they are available in thicknesses from 18 to 150 mm, in Medium to XXL diameters (40 cm to over 90 cm) and in lengths from 2.50 m to 11 m. Uses: joinery, cabinetmaking, staircases, tables, cooperage and exceptional roof structures.
