The SPAX HI.FORCE wood screw, WIROX is a SPAX screw designed for load-bearing joints in timber construction. On the SPAX HI.FORCE wood screw, WIROX, the wide disc head offering a large clamping area and the T-STAR plus (Torx) recess give firm guidance and screwing without slipping. Driving the SPAX HI.FORCE wood screw, WIROX stays clean in wood, with a controlled driving torque to limit breakout at the surface. Thanks to its partial thread, the SPAX HI.FORCE wood screw, WIROX pulls two pieces firmly together: the plain shank must at least match the thickness of the piece being fixed for optimal clamping.
