T.H.T. timber battens are decorative façade elements, used to create contemporary open-slatted linings or regular vertical rhythms. Available in Spruce or Poplar, these battens are thermally modified at high temperature (T.H.T.) with steam and no chemical additives. This treatment improves their natural durability and dimensional stability and makes them suitable for outdoor use in use class 3a / 3b. Ideal for vertical, face-fixed installation, these battens bring modern architectural relief while keeping the warm look of natural timber. Specifications The battens are made in France from PEFC-certified timber, guaranteeing sustainable forest management. They are planed, can be brushed or left untreated, and are fixed with exposed nails. Species available: T.H.T. Spruce (42 x 42 mm) and T.H.T.
