Spruce is a softwood that Guillemette & Cie selects in the Scandinavian forests, known for the consistency of their timber. The company chooses it from the best origins in the area, as part of its sourcing in Northern Europe. It is offered as sawn timber cut to order: the sections are prepared to order, according to the need expressed by the customer. The timbers come from sustainably managed forests. FSC or PEFC certification applies only to batches identified as such and is confirmed at the time of order, product by product, rather than covering all available volumes from the outset.
