Stone wool infill strip for steel decking

Description

These single-density stone wool strips are intended to fill the flats of profiled steel decking, between the ribs of the roof deck. Placed before the main flat roof insulation is installed, they restore the continuity of the soffit and remove the air voids that would otherwise penalise the thermal and acoustic performance of the build-up. They accompany the ROCKWOOL solutions for flat roofs on a steel deck. Four product codes are catalogued, in widths of 170, 185 and 250 mm and thicknesses of 40 and 50 mm: the choice depends on the roof deck profile selected, whose rib geometry determines the width of strip to be installed.
