Description

UniTec D CM DP hoggers for s-System LEUCO Ø 160 mm and arbor is intended for double-end tenoners. The tool is used for sizing raw, melamine-faced, paper and PVC-coated, laminated and veneered wood-based panels without breakout. On the execution, LEUCO specifies: a 5 mm resharpening zone, n max = 6,000 min-1, and the cut split into roughing and finishing. What the manufacturer highlights: improved chip removal through extraction built into the tool (ChipMeister), shorter cleaning times, and lower extraction power. The range comes in 12 versions: outside diameter of 250 mm, bore of 60 mm, cutting width from 8 to 16 mm and from 24 to 54 teeth. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). To bear in mind before ordering: also for machining thin panels 8 mm thick, suited to scoring/hogging (RZ) and to double hogging (DZ), and direction of rotation to VDMA 8849.
