Unmatched oak board

Description

Unmatched oak boards are un-edged boards of consistent length, sawn in standard thicknesses. Unlike the boule, they do not come from one and the same tree: they are selected then graded by quality and by length, and kept in permanent stock. The sawmill offers them air dried or kiln dried. Packed in bundles to make loading into a lorry or a container easier, they offer precise, uniform sawing of consistent quality. They are graded to the EN 975-1 standard in QS1/A, QS2, QS3 and QS4 qualities, available in lengths from 1.50 m to 4.50 m, in variable widths (un-edged boards) and in usual thicknesses from 18 to 80 mm. They are suited to joinery, cabinetmaking, construction, flooring and wall fit-out, as well as to staircase making.
