VHW Nesting shank cutters LEUCO, HP+ equip CNC machines. Applications intended by the manufacturer: the cutting of panels by the Nesting process and facing, rebating and grooving in solid wood and wood-based materials. Benefits claimed in use: extended tool life – improved carbide compositions guarantee a longer service life, exceptional cutting accuracy – the optimised tooth geometries guarantee cleaner cuts and less material waste, and greater efficiency – the improved tool design allows higher feed speeds and minimises machine downtime. The article group brings together 12 versions: outside diameter from 6.35 to 12.7 mm, shank from 6.35 to 12.7 mm, overall length from 63.5 to 90 mm and number of teeth from 2 to 3. Cutting material: solid carbide (VHW). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: clamping: the use of very accurate clamping systems is recommended (e.g. TRIBOS, ps-System).
