Description

VHW radius shank cutter LEUCO equips CNC machines and is intended for machining grooves and contours and for shape milling, as well as for 3D milling (spherical parts, 3D moulds and so on). Applications intended by the manufacturer: angled plunging with simultaneous use of the Z and X or Y axes. Design details given by the manufacturer: positive helix, end grinding, solid carbide (VHW) and right-hand cut. Benefits claimed in use: long tool life thanks to the fine-grain carbide grade. The article group brings together 26 versions: outside diameter from 3 to 20 mm, shank from 3 to 20 mm, overall length from 50 to 130 mm and number of teeth from 2 to 3. Cutting material: solid carbide (VHW). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: clamping system: ps-System hydraulic expansion chucks, TRIBOS or shrink-fit chucks are recommended.
