Description
VHW roughing cutters for door locks LEUCO, negative helix are designed for use on high-performance door machining centres, CNC machining centres and machines with door lock units. Their field of application covers the milling of lock mortises. Stated design features: negative helix, fine roughing cut and high-quality cutting material. Claimed strengths: protection of the milling units thanks to vibration-free rotation, minimal load even when changing direction, and extended tool life. The series comprises 1 version: outside diameter of 16 mm, shank of 16 mm, overall length of 175 mm and 3 teeth. Cutting material: solid carbide (VHW). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: hydraulic expansion chucks or shrink-fit chucks are recommended, and side clamping flats are required for mounting in the horizontal drilling unit (Homag, Weeke) (see Technical Information).
