VHW through-hole drill bits LEUCO, topline are designed for use on automatic drilling machines and CNC machining centres. Their field of application covers the drilling of through holes in solid wood and wood-based materials. Stated design features: cylindrical shank with flat, special cutting geometry and extra-fine carbide drilling point. Claimed strengths: high tool life compared with a traditional drill bit thanks to the specific VHW and special grinding, and chip-free drilling thanks to a special cutting geometry. The series comprises 8 versions: drilling diameter from 5 to 8 mm, shank of 10 mm and overall length from 57.5 to 70 mm. Cutting material: solid carbide (VHW). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: adjusting screw Ident-No. 001600 M5x10 DIN 551 for accurate length setting included in the delivery, adjusting screw Ident-No. 186017 M5x11.5 for the Weeke quick-clamping drill chuck to be ordered separately, and mounting: Kombi system chuck, quick-change chuck.
