Description

CD020 90/30 VHW bit LEUCO is intended for use on CNC and gantry machines as well as on ADUs (automatic drilling units), and it suits UD laminates perfectly, for example in carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP). On the execution, LEUCO specifies: a bevelled point geometry optimised for drilling through holes without breakout, and a 90°/30° point angle. Advantages highlighted by LEUCO: long edge life from reduced cutting forces and ultra-fine grain carbide, and optionally available with a matched CVD diamond coating. The range comes in 4 versions: drilling diameter from 4 to 10 mm, shank from 4 to 10 mm, overall length from 55 to 90 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: solid carbide (VHW). To bear in mind before ordering: every intermediate size from a diameter of 2.0 mm to 12.0 mm is available on request.
