Description

CD040 Solid drill bit 130/60 DP LEUCO is designed for use on CNC machines and gantries and is a universal tool for a wide variety of materials: fibre-reinforced plastics, aluminium, stacks or CMC and ceramics. Stated design features: a solid, continuous DP edge and a bevelled point geometry. Claimed strengths: compared with the standard DP cut, greater geometric freedom and therefore better performance are possible, and a very robust version that is insensitive to vibration. The series comprises 3 versions: drilling diameter from 4 to 8 mm, shank from 4 to 8 mm, overall length from 60 to 70 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: all intermediate dimensions from a diameter of 4.0 mm to 20.0 mm are available on request.
